Our plan is to provide each homeless veteran with a community where we can provide a stable living experience and help find employment. Working with corporations, the community, and our neighbors we will be able to provide a proven and reliable resource to each Veteran.
We are accomplishing this by partnering with local corporations, non-profits, the community, and our neighbors.
The solution is a low income self-sustaining home with a job that enables longterm growth for each individual.
An affordable home. Up to 350 Square Feet (SF) of living in a Tiny Home. Our Veterans need an affordable home that can be maintained on minimum wage. The plan is to provide a home that is 350 SF at a cost of $1 per SF per month. Meaning an individual or couple will pay $350 per month for a home, electricity, and Utilities. The model to the left is an example of a Tiny Home Unit.
Each Tiny Home includes a kitchen, Full Bath, Open Bedroom, and Living Area. The Tiny Home is ADA Compliant.
Upon placement in a Tiny Home, our Veterans will then be placed in a full time job. Corporations like Amazon are offering full time jobs in their fullfillment Centers through the Amazon Warriors Program. These jobs come with full benefits.
As you can see, the Solution is two fold. A Home and a job. We know that our Veterans need access to both. This allows our Veterans to rejoin the community as a partner in their own future. Now we do know that some of our Veterans may not be able to work full-time, in this case, there will be alternatives to support them in alternative jobs and we will maintain their Tiny Home with your support.
Finally, there are amazing non-profits we are partnering with that will continue to work with our Veterans have access and support in their daily lives. These services include drug and alcohol inpatient services, suicide prevention and counceling, court liaison services, Veteran's benefits services, I.D. Services, training, and Certifications.
